A few weeks ago, I found this desk on craiges list for $30! It was the victim of a shabby chic project gone wrong! A few coats of primer, paint and an antique glaze over the top, it is finished! It even came with a light attachment at the top of it! Here is the process of the desk.
What do you think? I need to add a few more handles but other than that, she's done! She is also FOR SALE!
Looks good!

My friend offered me a roll top when she moved but it was pretty beat up. Now that I see yours I wish I'd have vision to make into something as cool! Love the red!
ReplyDeleteYou transformed that from blah to fabulous! It's so unexpected. I painted an armoire red and haven't regretted it for a second- it looks wonderful against my pistachio striped walls. Your desk is going to transform any space. Thanks for the inspiration.

Oh my Redness! Love the color choice. Did you use a spray paint? How did you get the top to roll without it getting too filled with paint?
