DIY Kitchen Remodel

Wow has it been a long time since I have posted here. Since then we bought a 1950's fixer upper house and have been having a blast fixing it up! We figured we would do the kitchen slowly and over the next 5 years.. we have lived here 8 months and it is almost complete! Here are some fun pictures of what we did! My husband made our wood counter tops all from scratch, our sink is from ikea and we did the subway back splash ourselves with a dark grey grout.

 After! Lots of sweat and labor into these countertops, floors, cabinets and back splash but OH I love it.

    What a drastic change! You created great variations for your kitchen, including the cabinets, sink, countertops and paint combinations. I can only imagine how awesome it will look like after all the finishing touches. Keep us updated! Have a great day! :)

    It’s not good to block your kitchen’s view with a cabinet, and you did a great job of removing it first. Congratulations for completing some projects for your kitchen within 8 months! Your kitchen certainly looks like it was done by professionals. Well, all those sweat and efforts are all worth it.     I believe that your pre-made plans and preparations sped up the timeframe for the kitchen remodel. I can only imagine the focus you exerted in finishing the room as soon as possible.
