Last week my cousin Anneke and I decided on our day off we were going to make EVERYTHING PUMPKIN! I have had high hopes and dreams of getting a kitchenaid on black friday, but I gave up my hopes and bought a sunbeam mixer for $30. I was REALLY excited to test it out. We collaborated on all ingredients, and Anneke made 3 pumpkin dishes and I made 2! Here are our pumpkin foods and the recipes!

Pumpkin Cheesecake and Pumpkin Swirl Bread
We had a lot of fun! Luckily Thomas napped the entire time and Anneke's little boy watched tv very nicely and her little baby newborn didn't make a peep at all. We want to have another day baking day very soon! Try out these recipes and let me know what you think!
A couple days after you told me you bought your Sunbeam, I saw Costco's ads and they have a $50 off coupon for a KitchenAid and I sighed.
ReplyDeleteBUT! That kitchenaid would have still been $250. It was $300. We looked at it. I am HAPPY with my sunbeam! :) It'll do what I need it to.
ReplyDeleteOooo, yummy! Those all looks delicious! Looked like fun! Thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeleteUmmm, there are fifteen cans of pumpkin in my already crammed pantry. I can't get enough of it. I almost vowed to stop reading new pumpkin recipes, but I made pumpkin donuts (yummy) this morning and couldn't resist seeing what you made. I'm off to make the Pumpkin/Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies now!
ReplyDeleteHere is a way to get a kitchenaid for $103...
